“I bought a sound bar to go with this TV. It's connected via optical cable but there's no option to switch audio output. What can I do to fix this?”

• nothing...it does not appear to be sound bar adaptable. I called the 800# and the person did try to help but I needed to go into the menu options for the TV and the part about connecting digital sound was frayed out and unadjustable.

• You shouldn't need to change the audio output on the television if you're using an optical port you should only need to gmset the soundbar to the right mode to use it.
