While I do not have this Westinghouse, I have a 50+/- inch Westinghouse and it has been great. My wife and I got it in 2012 and it has been running strong ever since, im watching it as we speak in the same great quality it was some 6 years ago.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i have one 46 inch 1080p since 2014 and worikng just fine, but i bought another one 55 inch 4k in November 2016 and screen died last month.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are really only 3 catafories of quality in TVs left: Premium- LG, Samsung, Sony. It is an open debate of LG or Samsung is superior. Sony is a much higher price point. Good- Vizio. Plenty of Range with their top of the line being comparable with the brands above. Might throw the higher end of the latest TLC in this class too. Local dimming can be found in these brands and is less likely below. Everything Else. Made in Asia same as above by large corporations you have never heard of but likely branded via a licensing agreement with familiar legacy names. Toshiba, Hitachi, Sharp, RCA, Element, Sanyo, Seiki, Westinghouse ect. They undercut Samsung and LG on Price and have to cut some corners to do it. Where an how they are inferior will vary and may not matter to you. Not a sports fan? Then you will be fine with a 60 refresh rate. Do you care if it is 3.2 inches thick? The built in speakers and sound will be crap but even if you pay $4000 for a flat screen TV it will not compete with a $200 stereo or sound bar. Expect a little higher defect and return rates and consider the extended warranty more with the off brands. To the specific question of this Westinghouse I picked up the 58 inch door buster for $250. It meets and in some areas exceeds expectations, especially at < $400. It came nicely packaged an unsamaged. It works. 4k is easily better than any 1080p I have seen (upgraded from LG 1080p.) The sound quality is passable for use as a secondary TV but if it will be the centerpiece of your home theater it has optical and HDMI ARC output. Refresh is 60 but you won’t won’t find 4k content currently available above that. Remote- cheap and the receiver is on the far left. Edge lighting- There is slight bleeding noticeable at times mostly noticeable on blank screen. Onboard OS: Muse. You get Netflix, YouTube and VD at 4k. No App Store and updates very unlikely. Logo- dead cente but small and doesn’t light up. Can’t be read from 5 feet away.. You won’t be shamed by the neighbors... Shocking Bonus. It has Chromcast capability. It isn’t mentioned on the box or in the manual but I went to cast to another set and “Westinghouse” was there as an option. Unsolved problem. I have a brand new Roku Ultra, new 2.0 HDMI cable and when I run 4k HDR Amazon Prime the TV goes nuts and the Roku needs a hard re-boot. Could be a bad box or cable. Could be that the 2/3 HDMI inputs I have tried don’t support it. More trial and error will be needed but for the price I wouldn’t return it even if I can’t get HDR from an external source. If you buy this inexpensive unit with reasonable expectations It won’t disappoint.

However for the black Friday price it's more than worth it. Make sure you have a roku, fire tv stick etc. becasue the apps are limited.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have no problem with the quality, the picture and sound are crystal clear running from my cable. I replaced a 20+ year old 52” tv with this Westinghouse tv and wish I would have done it sooner. I highly recommend it for viewing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve had one since Black Friday 2010, stood in line at Target to get it and it runs strong still. While in college I is rto run it all day and night with no issues. Quality wise there no Sony or even Samsung but they are def good. I say if your on a budget they are great tvs to buy. I just bought the 58 in 4k Westinghouse from heat buy and I cut netflicks on and the quality is great now local cable it’s ok. Compared it to my 40 in proscan 1080p and the proscan looks a bit better as colors are more darker but this Westinghouse is amazing and unless next to a tv like mine is then you won’t notice that much of a difference umless your use to tvs like a Sony

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Had a 52in Westinghouse 4k TV for 2 years. Had to return to store 2 for defective broken ports right out of the box. We returned to store and got another no problem, ports are still on the weak side. Pros: Price under 500 dollars Good picture quality for price Cons: Software needed to be reset often Smart apps only worked when they wanted to Remote not very responsive, having to press the button in back of the TV to turn off and on because the remote did not always work I would have rather paid a bit more for a smaller Samsung or try RCA at the same price range
