Hello. I recommend that the TV remains inside the box to void any damage from happening to the product (internally or externally). Westinghouse Electronics has a 1-year warranty, however, it can still be voided if there's damage to the product due to misuse, accident, alteration, etc. Please view our warranty and product detail on our website at www.westinghouseelectronics.com
