• I would not suggest using this stand in a corner - the width of the stand would make it prohibitive from a space perspective, sticking far out into the room. If you really need a corner stand, look for a wedge-shaped stand that is built for a corner. You can put it in the corner but it really won't work well there in my opinion.

• Doug, it would be your preference to position unit on a corner, however, the width of the TV stand is 54 inches.
