I would not recommend it. It has some adjustment in height but not enough if you are laying in bed

My bed is a king with an 18" mattress for a total of 30-36 inches w/base and a 55" tv is easily viewable with its bottom frame being probably a foot above the bed top. And its still not all the way up the stand. Take a few measurements and see but unless your bed is super high and your tv is even bigger you should be good.
