I use the table top. I did not mount my 65 inch TV and, in fact, I had to buy this as my nice old entertainment center wasn't long (wide) enough to accommodate my TV's legs. (No center stand!!) ;-(
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I mounted an LG 65UF6800-UA. It is an inch or so wider than the stand. It fits nicely and I did not mount it to the wall. If you have children I would suggest you us the tether that comes with it. We are very happy with the purchase.
