“Does it vent to the outside. My old one does that. I like it.”

This question is for: Whirlpool - 1.1 Cu. Ft. Low Profile Over-the-Range Microwave Hood Combination - Stainless Steel

Yes, the Microwave does have the option to vent outside, or indoors, if you choose. I did find that the exhaust fan is so powerful, it still produces some airflow to the inside, even though it blasts air to the exhaust pipe.

Yes it does vent to the outside. There are two venting position options. Out the top and out the rear.

Yes. Links directly to the external vent that you have already. Very nice microwave. Quiet. But the sound is also very quiet - key pads, timer, end of cycle.
