QuestionMy kitchen is relatively small and cabinets 12 inches deep. Will this look odd jutting 6 inches? Most microwaves are 15 o/16 inches deep. I am VERY concerned with aesthetics (NOT concerned with practicality); will it look really odd??

- Answer The appearance is different. Best go to an appliance store that has one installed and see for yourself. The full width with square corners is noticeable and the extra three inches changes how you work at the range top. The appearance is great, the adjustment in the working space is likely to matter more initially.

QuestionDoes whirlpool microwave model WML55011HS have a recirculating vent configuration? Is it set up for that mode out the box? The instructions don’t mention anything but a wall vent or roof vent option. But it does come with a charcoal filter...

- Answer Yes - there are four or five loose grilles and covers about 2 inches by 5 inches with screws that are fastened in one of two ways to make the unit direct vented or recirculating. One forward discharging grille cools the microwave's magnetron. There is a noticeable upward warm air discharge at the front of the unit but that air is not in contact with food vapors or grease laden air.

Questionwhat side does the cord go up into the cabinet.... I'd like to pre drill the cabinet now, and before I install unit. Also it would help in placing the outlet before hand

QuestionCan this model be used as microwave mounted in a cabinet/under a cabinet as a microwave only and not used to recirculate air? We wanted the Low Profile look just for microwaving items and placed in the cabinet design and not for over the range.
