“Can this compactor be used without being under the counter?”

• You can plug this in and use it anywhere. The sides, back and top are not finished to be exposed. It won’t look pretty but it will function.

• Yes it could stand alone as long as its plugged in to a power source.

• Yes you could use it without being under the counter but there is no case on the back, like you see on a kenmore. So you have exposed metal edges.
