It will TEMPORARILY pause. After about 2min, it will reset and youll need to start over.

There is no pause, however you can just open the door and continue after were you left.

Hello Sally, you may open the door to pause the unit but there is no pause button.

According to their instruction manual, page 7 under CANCEL, it states the microwave oven turns off when the door is opened; however, when the door is closed and you touch the START on the keypad, it will resume the cycle . I hope this helps. Nan

Just open the door stir, check or flip your food item. Close door and start again. Will pick up from time remaining.
