• Hello, Sheryl! We recommend that the top of the over-the-range microwave, or the bottom of your cabinets, be approximately 30" above the surface of your range. • I would say about two feet or a little less. remember what goes on the stove top and venting and make sure its mounted securly. and to test it out before mounting and I mean all features... I learned that from my own experience.
