“I understand this microwave model exhaust fan motor can be vented in three directions: out the back, rear & vertically into the kitchen area. The exhaust motor needs to be changed for each. What vent direction is this model set up for when out of box?”

• Factory set to "self vent" out the front.

• Hi Chris, the microwave oven is set for recirculation installation. For wall or roof venting, changes must be made to the venting system.
