• It comes with instructions and template. Very easy to follow. You won't need much just drill or screwdriver and measuring tape. And maybe someone to help with the lifting.

• A bar screws to the wall to hold up and align the back of the unit. Two bolt holes need to be drilled in the floor of the upper cabinet as bolts screw into the unit and hold the front of the microwave. The front bolts have a lot of leeway and were pretty easy to install, it was just a bit confusing trying to figure out exactly where they needed to be but this DIYer eventually figured it out. Took about 20 min to pull the old one and get the new one in. Easy Peazy.
