“how do you replace the exterior lightbulb The lightbulb under the microwave(to illuminate stovetop) has burned out and the glass bulb has come out of the socket, leaving the metal base in socket. This bulb is located to the back and faces the wall, very difficult to get to. HELP!!”

First , UN-plug the microwave from the wall socket. Ensure there's no power. Get a fresh carrot out the fridge, not canned. Use the smaller side of the carrot to insert into the metal shell of the lamp that separated from the glass bulb. pushing and turning with the carrot will grip the metal, and save your fingers, make sure there is no carrot peelings in the socket when done.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had that problem,what i did was unplug the microwave and got a flat head screw driver and just on the corner of the metal part push it in so it's kind of bent then use needle nose plyers to get grip on the metal part ond twist it off.
