“Is there any compiling reasons this Over-the-Range Microwave cannot be used on countertop? Is there a countertop version of this convection microwave with sensor cooking? If not, can I just use it on the counter anyway? It won't explode, right?”

I have been using mine on the countertop temporarily until I can get someone to help me install it. It works great and I really like it. Keep in mind the light and vent are underneath so it will not sit completely level like a countertop model. Yes it will tilt when opening the door, just be very careful. I do not know if there is a countertop model.
