“The answer to my previous question does not apply. This unit was installed to specifications for recirculating. Does this microwave have an operating exhaust fan to vent for steam or not? If not, this is a major design flaw for an OVER THE RANGE oven.”

• Yes, it does! It comes with the option to exhaust the steam/smoke out the top or the back. We just vent ours through the top and it filters out smoke no problem.
