Q: QuestionI purchased this less than 2 years ago and the cooktop lightbulb recently stopped working. I bought a new appliance lightbulb (40 watt), installed it, and the light control won't work. The dimmer did not work and it wouldn't turn off. Please advise!!!

• A:Answer You would need to touch the cook time, touch the number keypads to enter the time then press the cook power and touch the number keypads to enter the power level (10-90) and then touch the start control. We hope this helps!

Q: QuestionPurchased over the range Whirlpool Microwave and is vented through the top. Is the fan suppose to run when the microwave is in use? Had a Kenmore over the range previously and the fan did not run while microwave was running .

Q: QuestionAre the sides finished on this model? The sides are exposed on our over the range microwave and the only Whirlpool model I've found with finished sides is the 1.1 cu. Ft. model

• A:Answer No, the sides are black. The microwave sticks out about 2 inches from my cabinets, but the black does not distract. Since the glass door is black, the sides look just fine to me.

Q: QuestionI will be replacing an existing range hood. I have read that an over the range microwave needs to be on a dedicated circuit. With Best Buys installation service, they simple say they’ll convert your existing 110 to an outlet. Will this be problematic?

• A:Answer Hello Murph! The Clock is a 12-hour (12:00-11:59) or 24-hour (0:00-23:59) clock. Touch OPTIONS/CLOCK to reach Clock submenu and follow the prompts to set the Clock. Clock format (12 hours with AM and PM, 12 hours without AM and PM, or 24 hours) may also be set in the Clock submenu.
