“Is there a filter that has to be replaced? Also is the microwave loud?”

• The underside filter can be detached and washed via dishwasher. I can foresee it having to be replaced if scrubbed by hand too often. Perhaps soaking is another option if you don't have/use the dishwasher. Unfortunately, this unit is relatively loud. (Much louder than our 12yo kenmore that we replaced)
