There are 4 shelves in total. Three are freestanding and the bottom shelf is created by the stacking of 4 bins each 2 wide. Not sure about wire shelves being available. Hope this helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are 3 movable shelves and 1 set shelf that is the top of the bins below. There are 2 humidity controlled bins and 2 set bins. Plenty of room for my fermented foods on the bin shelf and fresh veggies in the bins. The top shelf provides for taller items like large coffee creamers that need refrigeration and quart size kefir bottles. I’ve had 2 gallon jugs of milk in door and still room on same door shelf for salad dressings and water kefir flip top bottles. This is perfect for lots of fresh foods. I don’t know about wire shelves, but why would you want them? These glass shelves are easy to clean and will keep most spills contained so that other shelves aren’t “dripped upon”.if you have a major spill catastrophe, of course there will be uncontrolled spillage, but for normal oops type spills you are covered. I love this fridge and highly recommend.
