I have observed modern electronic controlled devices, Refrigerators, Televisions etc all tend to reset to their originally programmed settings when power is interrupted. Figure out how to change these settings or adapt to the digital reality that is the future. My refrigerator is used in the kitchen to keep fresh food from spoiling, so there is no need for me to change the temperature settings. That is a good thing since, when it was brand new it took me 2 days to change the temperature and then to restore it. Now if you change a digital setting the gadget does not always immediately respond. Which for someone who grew up in an analog world can be frustrating.

We usually advise doing a hard breaker reset by turning off the breaker to the appliance for 2 minutes and turning it back on. This will verify if the appliance is still functioning properly. As Power Outages can cause surges through the power line and cause the unit not to turn back on properly.
