A:AnswerI ran into this problem too and was livid that Whirlpool support is out here saying this and worse, the manual says it too. Ended up having to pay a restocking fee to return the ice maker to where I purchased it.
A:AnswerI have exactly the same problem that you have and went to the Whirlpool facebook site. After some exchange, they told me that icemaker Kit W11517113 is the right one. I haven't been able to locate one to purchase so not sure if this is the correct model. Please let me know if it is indeed the correct one if you get a hold of one first.
A:AnswerYes, if you select or pay for the haul away fee. I believe you have this option to select at check out. I didn’t select haul away as someone else took my old fridge. Attached is a photo of the new fridge so you can see how sleek it looks.
