- Answer Whirlpool support is wrong here, the ECKMFEZ2 is not the correct ice maker. That ice maker has an 8 terminal electrical connection but this fridge has a 5 terminal. I talked to Whirlpool support and the correct model of ice maker is W11517113 despite what the manual says and what support is saying on this website. I bought that model and now it’s connected and working.

QuestionFridge was delivered today. Delivery guy changed the door hinges so door opens on right side. Freezer door pops open when fridge door closes & doesn't close tight unless we push on it. Guy said that was normal and after awhile it will be ok. Is this true?

QuestionI purchased this for a rentsl unit last october 2018. The tenant at the time moved and thetr is no owners manual or any paper work . How do I get an Owners Manual? There is no shelf in the freezer. It shows it comes with a shelf?

- Answer SarahK, please be aware that our manufaturer's warranty will only cover a unit in a temperature controlled environment. This model does not require a reset if a power failure occurs.
