“How do I set the freezer temperature colder (farhenheit) than the default setting? The directions in the manufacturer pamphlet are not specific enough for me to follow...I do not understand how to do it...I need a more explicit direction please !”

Since the author of the official Whirlpool response doesn't understand that they are sending you to a link that is the exact same ambiguous answer as the manual you already have in hand, here is the actual answer to your question: Hold the lock/unlock (right most) button until the 3-2-1 countdown finishes. Then tap the zone you want to adjust, toggling through the available temps until you see the temp you want. As far as I can tell, the fridge will only adjust between 36-43F. Once you have the temp you want, hold the respective zone button for 3 seconds and it will remember your new setting. For what it's worth, I also struggled with the poorly written manual. Hope this helps.
