“Why does the rack have to be taken out unless you are doing 2-level cooking? Can it not stay in the microwave when using other functions as long as it is in the brackets?”

Hello Reviewer310, if the rack requires that is only be used for 2 level cooking. If it is not used with 2 level cooking it could potentially cause issues that could void the warranty. We hope this helps.
