Hi Dan, there may be some color variations, as the fingerprint-resistant stainless does use a special coating.

Please try again later.As long as the size of the new Whirlpool microwave is the exact same size as your existing Whirlpool microwave that you are replacing, it should work fine. My existing Whirlpool microwave also had issues and I have the trim kit. The new Whirlpool microwave I bought is the same exact size as the one I was replacing and fit well with the existing trim kit.
