QuestionDid we get the wrong item?Ours came with ZERO ice maker components. No solenoid, fill valves, tubes, nothing to easy connect to. When we researched it before purchasing it showed basically all you needed to do was plug in ice maker.

Question"The electrical spec says 20 amp, 115 volt. Does this mean a 20 amp wall plug is necessary? If so, this would preclude older homes like mine, which only has 15 amp wall plugs.

- Answer Yes it has separate controls. I keep mine in the garage in the Midwest. Did take about 2 weeks to stabilize the temps. I put separate thermometers, one in fridge, one in freezer to monitor temps. Got mine in September when avg temp in garage was 85 so had to go one above recommended setting to maintain below 0 in freezer and below 40 in fridge. Hoping as winter approaches to be able to put at recommended settings.

- Answer I have the refrigerator in the garage with no additional accessories. Note that I am in Florida so the garge will not get below freezing.

QuestionThere is a 1/2" gap between the top of the crisper drawer and the shelf above it which basically makes the crisper adjustment obselete. Is this correct or do I have a defective refrigerator?
