- Answer My Maytag fridge was 26 years old and though it was still running great the door rails were cracking and the light was acting funky. We went looking for another Maytag but was told they were bought out by Whirlpool so we got this one. The Whirlpool is super quiet and has super bright LED lighting. Very happy with this purchase!

QuestionThe model I saw on the floor had a small drawer under the top shelf close to the left wall of the refrigerator which rolls out. The refrigerator that was delivered had a drawer which had about a 5 inch gap between the left wall where it rolled out.
