A:AnswerMy unit has been whisper quiet except when it cycles which isn't often. This is normal. I'm 63 so this isn't my first fridge. Some noise is normal. None of the newer fridges cool as well as the old ones did. They just don't make them that way anymore. My last unit had 9 cool settings. This has 4. Pretty standard. My food stays cold. If I want my beverages icy cold I put them in the freezer for a while. Many of my friends do this as well. I'm happy with this fridge.
A:AnswerJust spoke to the Geek squad three years after this question and they did not believe this about Whirlpool warranty. I am asking about a Whirlpool washer in the garage. Whirlpool says they will not cover it. I asked if the Best Buy Warranty would. They say I have to get permission from Whirlpool for Best Buy to cover the washer. I would like to buy the best buy warranty but not if I cannot use it.. I was told this was some law that for a year Best Buy cannot touch it.
