A:Answer I have been here, own rental units, and personal home. Wheels must stay on, at times, adjustment for rock, may be done, but is a lot of work, to pick up 1/4 inch. (most fridges have locked rear wheels, only the front will go up/down, for rock, or to gain clearance).
Most measure over hinges, but hinges, 99% of time, stay out of cabinet. Just measure the fridge itself, tight is no problem. Just need 1/2 inch on sides, air is drawn to rear, and vented out bottom of fridge, you can feel the air on floor when fridge is running. Fan is blowing condensate from cycle out to vent, do not block.
Last way to fit new fridge, that is tight, also have done. The trim board on cabinet, is usually an inch below cabinet bottom, Trim the trim board within a 1/2 inch of cabinet door,(or what ever is needed), and you get a perfect fit. Do not forget to stain new raw wood, if no stain, magic marker, just darken new wood, nobody will ever notice. Just apply common sense to a problem, most problems can be solved if you have the ability. This works, only if the size is close and tight.
