A:Answer Drain is on the bottom left on the front of the unit if you are standing and facing the front of the unit. The controls are on the bottom right of the right side panel if you are in the same position mentioned earlier. No temperature display/indicator at all. Not sure about the “visible” light. There might be a light near the controls on the side which are on the bottom right so definitely not easily “visible”. I like this unit but it is a basic chest freezer. NO LED temperature display, NO digital temperature controls, NO high temperature alarm. Not a complaint just fact.
