Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the handles are removable. The handles do not come on the refrigerator at the time of delivery, they are separate. You should be given a hex wrench when they deliver the refrigerator so you can remove the handles if needed.

Accessible from the inside edge of each handle, an inch or so from the top and bottom. Two screws in each handle. Allen wrench was supplied with our "instructions". The delivery folks took care of all that before they even brought it into the house, and then put the handles back on. The Best Buy delivery guys from our store were top notch professionals; didn't waste any time, bump or bruise any woodwork, or flirt with my wife. .
