“it says under product spec it measures 32 3/4 in width but the cut out spec says 36 width. why that much difference? The cut out space in our kitchen is at 36 width max if not tighter, will this ref fit in?”

susan, To ensure proper ventilation for your refrigerator, you will need to allow for ¹⁄₂" (1.27 cm) of space on each side and at the top. Allow for 2" (5.08 cm) of space behind the refrigerator. Also, if you are installing your refrigerator next to a fixed wall, you will need to leave a 2" (5.08 cm) minimum space on each side (depending on your model) to allow the doors to swing open. We would not recommend installing the Refrigerator into a smaller cutout dimension that what is described in the Installation Instructions.
