I can't know for sure in your space, but I was able to do so in my kitchen with a wall on one side (the right of the unit). My initial measure was 36 inches along the floor with a baseboard. All parts of the fridge are usable; I cannot get the drawers fully out of the unit, because the fridge door does not open as wide as it possibly could. I will live with that because I wanted a side-by-side and this was the most narrow in width I was able to find. If you have seen reviews, you know the freezer is small, and it is, but again, a trade off that was worth it to me. Make sure you measure well, and if you have a bit more room above any baseboard this will give you slightly more room for the door handle. I have a window perpendicular to the fridge along the wall so that helped too. If yours is a solid wall and no extra portion of an inch above the baseboard, you may get it in there but it might be to snug for everyday use for you. When thinking about the measurements--don't forget the handles, which is why the window helps in my case, it gives me a little more room that lets the handle have a bit more room for opening. One thing: the delivery man showed up and said--I don't think it will fit, but I had measured really well, and had someone else check too, and I knew it would. I told him I new the fridge door wouldn't open all the way, and I was okay with that. It fit and I'm very happy with it. I did line one of my drawers just in case for easier cleaning. So look at your situation, think about the use of the unit functionally, consider what you are willing to live with, and good luck. P.S. I got the black stainless steel finish and love it.

For Standard Side-by-Side Installation: To ensure proper ventilation for your refrigerator, allow for 1/2" (1.27 cm) of space on each side and at the top. Allow for 2" (5.08 cm) of space behind the refrigerator. If your refrigerator has an ice maker, allow extra space at the back for the water line connections. When installing your refrigerator next to a fixed wall, leave a 2" (5.08 cm) minimum space on each side (depending on your model) to allow the doors to swing open. NOTES: This refrigerator is intended for use in a location where the temperature ranges from a minimum of 55°F (13°C) to a maximum of 110°F (43°C). The preferred room temperature range for optimum performance, which reduces electricity usage and provides superior cooling, is between 60°F (15°C) and 90°F (32°C). It is recommended that you do not install the refrigerator near a heat source, such as an oven or radiator. Normal minimum cabinet cut-out width required for product installation is 36" (91.44 cm). However, if the product is placed against an extended wall and the ability to remove the crisper pans is desired, an additional 18" (45.72 cm) of cabinet width is required, so a total cabinet opening width of 54" (137.16 cm) is recommended.
