• The higher the number, the colder the temperature. Think of it as reflecting intensity of cold rather than the number of degrees.

• In order to reduce coolness in the freezer section compartment you should change your cold control from 4 to 3. However, I do not recommend change settings. You should keep your cool control on number 4 for the freezer and fridge section. Felix / World Appliance Co.
