• Sal, this model is not smudge proof. The sides of the cabinet are grey.

• Definitely not smudge proof. My 1yr olds finger prints are all over the freezer. The sides are gray but not stainless steel

• No the stainless is NOT smudge proof or finger print proof ............... but cleans up quickly with a damp cloth. The sides are gray. It's a very rich looking appliance!!! Very happy with it.
