QuestionIs it possible to get this refrigerator WITHOUT the exterior water/ice? Either this fridge or one very similar, ie side by side with interior ice, and white. No water needed unless inside. I need a side by side (hopefully whirlpool), this size. Thanks

QuestionI just got this refrigerator installed today, but for the life of me cannot figure out how to turn on the ice maker! There is no on/off switch nor is there a metal arm or anything that I can move inside the ice compartment that would appear to turn it on

QuestionThe inside of the door ie the frame between the fridge and freezer is very warm and has been since plugged in is the normal and does anyone else have this issue?

- Answer Hello DLMJ! We are sorry for any concern that has been raised from the warmness of your refrigerator. The refrigerator exterior should feel warm in the area where the gaskets meet the frame. These areas are the mullion and cabinet flanges. This heat is generated by a heat loop located within the refrigerator walls near the gasket areas. This heat is necessary to keep moisture and frost from forming on the refrigerator exterior. At times, the refrigerator exterior may feel even warmer than usual in these areas. This could last up to 24 hours. This condition may be caused by one or more of the following: 1. Initial startup of the refrigerator from room temperature 2. Loading fresh food or food that is near room temperature 3. Heavy usage during certain times of the day If the refrigerator exterior continually feels hot in these areas, check the condenser for excessive dirt or debris and clean if necessary. Airflow blocked by lint, pet hair and dirt will cause the condenser and heat loop temperature to increase.

Please note that it can take 24 hours for some ice to be produced and it can take 72 hours for a full batch. If it has been past the 72 hours and you still do not have any ice, please contact us directly at 1-800-253-1301. We are open Monday-Friday from 8:00am-8:00pm and Saturday 8:00am-4:30pm EST.
