QuestionBought the fridge in August 2021, & the water filter light has yet to turn on as of May 2022. I thought it would turn on after 6 months? It’s been well over 8 months. Were we supposed to press the reset button for the water filter when we got the fridge?

- Answer Hello XM. We would recommend that you hold the light and ice type at the same time for 3 seconds. If the water filter light does not come on, please call Whirlpool at 866-698-2538. We are available Monday & Tuesday 8:00 am-8:00 pm and Wednesday through Friday 9:00 am-7:00 pm. They will be better able to assist you.

QuestionCan I take my filter out and use city water? I have a water filter system for my drinking water water under my sink. I never use the water from my refrigerator and use very little ice. Thank you very much.

QuestionMy question is on the right door swing, it seems to open very far and very fast then come to a banging stop. I am concerned that this will be an issue. Is there an adjustment i can make to this to not allow it to open so far or slow down?

- Answer My refrigerator stayed a little bit ahead of the cabinets, so I dont have any problems. Did you measure the space? They have a picture showing exactly how much space you need.

- Answer No. We measured exactly how much room we had because ours is surrounded on all sides by cabinetry. We have maybe a 1/64" space on each side.
