• Hi Me0wsmom, A dishwasher can use any where between 3.3-8 gallons of water. The cycle selection, options selected, the soil level of the dishes and detergent use all determine the amount of water the dishwasher will use. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Whirlpool appliances!
