Q: QuestionCan you prop the door open at a slight angle to air dry this machine? I'm not a fan of rinse aides

This question was asked about the related product: Whirlpool - 24" Built-In Dishwasher with Stainless Steel Tub
- A:Answer Hi reviewcrazed, thank you for your inquiry. Yes the door can be propped open to allow for air to circulate. If you are not using a rinse aid, you may need to clean your dishwasher more frequently with Affresh Tablets or a cup of white vinegar in the bottom rack. We hope this helps.

Q: QuestionHow long does it take to complete wash and dry cycle?Comments suggest it takes more than 2 1/2 hours is that correct? That is a looooong time.
Asked by Judy.
- A:Answer It takes about 3 hours for the normal cycle, but only an hour for the normal cycle. Length of time isn't a concern of mine, but this machine is much quieter than my old one.

Q: QuestionDurability of the racksThe interior is stainless steel - but what about the racks? - I have a 10 year old Amana that still runs fine but the pvc coated rack is corroded with rust and sharp tips. Of course, I cannot purchase the racks. Are the racks pvc coated of nylon coated? Would love a dishwasher with stainless steel racks.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer They are not stainless steel racks. They are gray to 'look' like metal but are coated. I'm not sure what is used to coat them.
