• Well, our kitchen table is about 6' from the machine and you can barely hear it run.

• It's quiet but I hear a light clanking like if the spinners keep hitting a plate but I have checked and they hit nothing. It does this every time and I'm not sure if it's supposed to sound that way, I have searched and searched but I can't get no answer.

• Much quieter than my old dishwasher. I think it's insulated quite well. Of course, you can still hear it, but when the water starts, it's almost silent. I don't find the dishwasher to be loud at all. Hope that helps!
