“There is a second compartment on my machine for a finish liquid. My question is, what is the correct way to fill this compartment with the liquid? There is a white gate in the compartment which can pivot either to the left or right . Nothing in manual. rp”

Hi Rich, thank you for you inquiry. Per page six of you Use and Care Guide you add rinse aid by turning the dispenser cap counterclockwise and lift off. Pour rinse aid into the openinguntil the indicator level is at “Full.” Replace the dispenser cap and turnto “Lock.” Make sure cap is fully locked. We hope this information is beneficial to you.
