• Does not have an air gap nor check valve. Tubing should be looped before it goes into the disposal or drain.

• Hi DESPERATE, the WDF520PADB can be installed with or without the air gap, please refer to your local codes as some areas require them. We also suggest using one if the drain hose is connected to house plumbing lower than 20" (50.8 cm) above subfloor or floor.
