• I found that the refrigerator's default setting results in 34 degrees in the refrigerator section, with the thermostat set in the middle of its range. I would be very surprised if it could not be adjusted to 32 degrees; in fact, given the very small adjustment I had to make to raise the temperature a bit (to keep lettuce from freezing), I would guess (I haven't actually tried it) that one could adjust the temperature to well below freezing, at least down to the upper 20's.

• Yes, but you will lose your vegetables and whatever else you do not want frosty or frozen.

• Jkl, the refrigerator will cool between 34-40 degrees as lower can cause food to freezer.
