• Actually, the front of the doors are stainless, the exterior sides are standard textured metal painted to match (grey).

• Interior sides are plastic, outside is stainless. Nice looking.

• No ... the sides are metal and painted with an glossy enamel paint! The sides look great! IMHO!

• I was told that the stainless rusts and is not covered by the warranty. Maybe it is better that the sides are plastic.
