“There's another model almost exactly like this (Model # WRX988SIBM) and I'm wondering what the difference is (other than the price)? The only thing I see is the 986 says Fingerprint resistant. Both have gray sides, which I thought could've been it.”

I must say, the fingerprint resistant surface is FANTASTIC! I would definately recommend it. My previous refrigerator didn't have it, and it was a pain to deal with. I was constantly wiping the fingerprints from it to make it look nice. The resistant surface on my Whirpool looks great all of the time...and that's with 6 people constantly in and out of the fridge.
