Some websites provide a photo or pdf file of the microwave and trim model’s exact measurements which helps you calculate if the trim would fit your “over the counter” microwave cabinet and trim fittings. We plan to install our microwave at a kitchen “base cabinet” as we prefer to bring hot food items UP to the counter instead of DOWN to the counter, (to prevent hot food spilling over anyone, our personal preference). This would be our second kitchen using a simple and smaller “over the counter” microwave installed in a base cabinet with a TRIM. Measurements of both M/W and TRIM will help you consider best fitting of both trim, and cabinet size. The vendors will not provide which models or brands it would fit in, but at least they provide the exact measurements to consumers by photo or pdf file. Just check vendors websites print the pic or pdf or take measurements down and make your calculations for fitting. That was the only way I was able to make my decision to purchase and install.
