• Yes, one can be ordered from whirlpool but they are impossible to get through to. You would have to know the part number. I would like to know the same thing what the part number is. I would like to replace that stupid prep station myself.

• yes, we did that. the prep shelf does not fit in our lifestyle, so we used our regular door shelf left from our last Whirlpool fridge.
