I purchased inexpensive thermometers. The settings on the fridge are accurate. There's a location where cold air originates. It's important for that air to circulate. If loaded tightly or items are placed near the cold air "vent" it's not surprising that some items froze especially during the initial cool down. Once you reach set temperature it should do a better job maintaining consistent temp throughout the fridge. Cold spots likely during initial cool down.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.all you have to do is buy little digital thermometers or any kind of thermometer temperature gauge and put it in each side. Screen will not let you know the actual temperature unfortunately. if you's got that cold when you had it set at the correct temperature sounds like to me there's something wrong with the fridge.

The preset settings should be correct for normal household usage. The controls are set correctly when milk or juice is as cold as you like and when ice cream is firm.
