“We have had this refrigerator for about 3 mos. Saying to order water filter. Took out and shook it still saying to order. Bought new filter and it is still saying to replace. Any ideas on what could be wrong?”

Did you reset it on the control panel? Just press the Options button and then press the button under Filter Reset.

Press the OPTIONS button to enter Options mode, then press LOCK to initiate the reset, then press MEASURED FILL to confirm that you want to reset the status light.
