“I recently bought a Whirlpool 3.1 Mini Fridge and I am confused about the white plastic tray that was sitting on top of the compressor. I do not see how it connects to anything back there. Can you explain where it goes? Thank you”

Probably a drip pan. Since it has a groove to obviously hold it in place above the compressor, i left it there.
